May 2025 Newsletter

Greetings in the name of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,

Prayerfully all who are reading this letter are doing well and staying spiritually strong. I must say, it has been an amazing and eventful first four months of 2025. There have been many spiritual decisions made and several people have publicly joined our membership. There have also been some setbacks, and several celebrations including a Beautiful Resurrection (Easter) Sunday!

We have had a few challenges (sicknesses, surgeries, sadness, etc...) As I write this letter, we also have a few of our people in a less than desirable place in life. More surgeries, sicknesses, and some stressful situations. I ask you to please keep praying! And the Lord remains faithful and reveals His presence through it all. God hears and answers prayers!

I am reminded of King Solomon’s words when said, “To everything there is a season…”. May brings us to a new season… Baseball, Softball, Graduations, Engagements, Weddings, Summer planning, Spiritual Progress, etc…

“The LORD is good, His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endureth to all generations.” (Ps.100:5)

By His Grace, for His glory, and our joy,
Pastor Tim Womack

Popcorn Testimony

This month's testimony comes from Judy Taylor.

Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."

I could write a book in my 79 years on how good God has been to me. In 1967, a doctor walked up to me and asked if I would like to adopt a baby. How did she know I wanted a baby? God must have sent her to me. I ended up adopting my son through her office and
I now have two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

God was with me in a bad car accident, I came out with a few scratches, and God protected me. God has been so good to me more than I deserve. He never left me, not once.

He has given me 79 years, more than he promised. Supplied all I ever needed, and more.
He led us to Central Baptist, and through us, God sent others to Central. I'm grateful for the church and the church family.

Looking back over my life, I see all the things God has done. He was so good to me. Yes, I see many times I could have been much better to him. I'm grateful for every day that he gives me.  Every morning, when I get up, I thank him for another day. God's ways and His timing is perfect, even when we don't understand. God's love and wisdom never fail.
