Popcorn Testimony

Camp Testimonies
Teen Camp: We had a great group of teens that attended camp this year! The common testimony that we heard from our teens was a desire to read God's Word faithfully each day and a determination to follow through on the commitments they each made to Him. The teens experienced a conviction to get rid of distractions or anything that would hinder their walk with the Lord. They pondered the question- who is influencing your life? God or the world?
Junior Camp: Our junior campers had a blast this year! This group had similar convictions about reading God's Word daily and being better representatives of Him. They expressed a desire to listen to God more and to not be lukewarm Christians.
Both groups represented Central Baptist Church well by their good behavior, their eagerness to grow spiritually and being diligent in memorizing bible verses!

New Member Highlight

Join us as we welcome new members Izetta (Izzy) and Karen Davis!
Izzy and Karen moved from Scioto County (Portsmouth, OH) 14 years ago and don’t plan on
leaving. Izzy works for Franklin County Juvenile Court in the diversion program, which includes truancy, unruly, and minor misdemeanors. Karen was a paramedic for 22 years and was in EMS for 30 plus years. Karen isn’t able to work due to health reasons, that continues to give her issues from time to time. Izzy loves taking photos and Karen loves working in her flower beds. We have 2 dogs and 3 cats- all rescues.
Thank you Central for making us feel so welcome and loved.
